About the Author

Taiichi Ohno was the father of Just-In-Time (JIT) at Toyota. After graduating with a mechanical engineering degree from Nagoya Technical High School, he worked for the Toyota Weaving Company. He later transferred to Toyota Motor Company as a machine shop manager, where he began developing just-in-time and the Toyota Production System.
