Yukihiro Ando is a Japanese TQM consultant who has worked with a large number of manufacturing and service companies,not only in Japan but also in the USA,Thailand,India,and Singapore.In over 30 years of his consulting practice,22 of those companies have been awarded the Prestigeous Deming Application Prize so far.
Besides his TQM consultancy, Yukihiro Ando also serves as a lead examiner for the Deming Prize Committee,and serves as a board member of Asian Network for Quality (ANQ), a committee of The Japanese Society for Quality Control(JSQC), as Honorary Advisor of QC Circle Saitama Region and a member of ISO/TC 176/SC 2(Quality Management and Quality Assurance/Quality Systems).
Pankaj is a graduate in mechanical engineering and a postgraduate in industrial engineering from Indian Institute of Technology,New Delhi,1986.
He is a lead auditor of ISO management systems,a certified TPM Instructor form JIPM Japan,a Six Sigma Black Belt and a senior assessor of Tata Business Excellence Model(based on Malcolm Baldrige National Quality award of USA).He has been working with Tata Steel Limited for the last 24 years in various functions such as Industrial Engineering,Business Excellence, ASPIRE,TQM,People Development etc.Since 2006,while working in the corporate TQM group,he took on the responsibility of promoting TQM Daily Management and Small Group Activities at Tata Steel India operations under the direction of Japanese TQM experts such as Dr.Noriaki Kano,Prof.Yukihiro Ando,Dr.Shu Yamada etc.
He has presented three papers on TPM and TQM in international conventions and two of his papers have also been published in international journals.
