Are all the books listed readily available with you?

Not necessarily. Some of the books may have to be specially ordered for you. In such cases we register your order and give you our order number. If the books have to be imported then it may take about eight weeks. If it is an Indian book/edition, then it should not take us more than a week to ship it to you.

We have direct accounts with almost all the leading international publishers. We have our own agents in USA, United Kingdom, German speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), France, Spain and Japan which enables us to obtain books easily and quickly. Besides the large publishing houses, we can also supply books from the smaller publishers, associations and university presses.

We use the latest technology to ensure that our bibliographic database is of the highest standard. Our bibliographic data is based on CD-ROMs that enable us to access a variety of databases. What if the book I am looking for is not listed in your catalogue?

No problem. Please mail us as much details of the book as you can to service@kkbooks.com and we will inform you of the availability and price of the title you are looking for.

I find that the prices are listed in Indian Rupees but in many cases these prices are constantly changing. Why is this so?

We use the original publication price and convert them to Indian Rupees as per the current conversion rate. More detail is available in our Conversion Rate page. However, these prices do not vary daily.

When I jump to another site from your site and browse their catalogue, I find that the prices indicated are not in Indian currency? Can I order a book with you even though it is not listed in your catalog? In what currency should I pay?

Yes. You can definitely order the title with us. If you are located in India, you will find that by ordering with us the service will be faster. Also you need not pay in foreign currency but need to pay only in Indian Rupees. If you are not located in India, then we suggest you obtain a quote from us to enable you to know the landed cost and also whether there are any territorial restrictions. The standard mode of payment is US Dollars. This is applicable for all titles listed in our catalogue also.

How do I get information on new books that are being published?

We can send you at regular intervals during the year information on books recently published in the subject areas matching your requirements. Do you accept credit cards on-line?

Sorry. Presently we are unable to accept credit cards on-line as facilities for secure transactions are still not available in India. However, we hope to be in a position to guarantee security shortly and will keep you posted.

I am located in India. If I order for some books, can I receive them by V.P.P./COD?

Usually, yes. The only exception to this rule is if you order for a single book that is priced at more than Rs. 2000.00
