Key To Aluminium Alloys 5/E
Rs. 5138.50
One needs good aids to communication when dealing with the increasingly
developed European market and the rapidly growing markets of eastern Europe. Tables that allow a clear comparison of materials are a typical example. When it comes to aluminium, the revised, fifth edition of the "Aluminium
Schlussel/Key to Aluminium Alloys", which is written in English and German, fulfills these requirements admirably.
The newly established, harmonised, European EN standards from the CEN member countries are included for the first time. Some standards are still at various stages of drafting and are not included here. The final versions will replace the corresponding national standards of the 18 CEN member countries. The draft EN standard for compositions of cast alloys has been included because the final version is expected to appear in this form shortly.
It is difficult to obtain reliable informatioon from some eastern European countries because of continuing unrest. As most of the countries have kept the standards that were valid in the past, it is assumed that this is also the case for those countries where no information to the contrary has been obtained.
A new feature of this edition of the "Key is an improved method for quickly locating and identifying unknown alloy designations. There is a new table that includes all alloy designations contained in this work of reference, arranged in alpha-numerical order.
